Free Day For Military

Strike up the band! The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula will be open Veterans Day Sunday. Hours Sunday November 11th are noon to 5:00 (closed Monday, the federal holiday). In honor of all men and women who have bravely served in the U.S. Armed Forces, the museum will be open free to all veterans and those currently serving. Coffee and cookies will be available. Sounds like a great opportunity for those of you who have helped shape who we are to take in the tributes paid to you in the form of historical exhibits. Those currently include an award-winning exhibit about World War II propaganda posters: United We Will Win: World War II Posters that Mobilized a Nation. Veterans, I hope you get a chance to accept the appreciation and recognition you so deserve on your day. And Happy Veterans Day to one and all! DB
