Montana Highway Patrol confirmed one person is dead after a crash near Clinton Friday night.

A crash in Missoula early this morning, June 9, could have ended in a destructive explosion, but luckily no one was seriously injured.

Traffic was stopped for more than two hours on Highway 93 north of Missoula Sunday after a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Reserve Street is closed between Mullan and River Road while the Missoula Police Department investigates a fatal crash that left 1 female dead and sent two others to the hospital.

A giant boulder crashed down on U.S. Highway 12 at about 5:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, February 10, causing so much instability that the Montana Department of Transportation has decided to close the highway.

A Missoula County Sheriff's truck was on its side in an irrigation ditch near Tran-solution way on U.S. Highway 93 South this morning, Monday, November 24.

Update: 5:00 p.m. - A press release sent by the Ravalli County Sheriff's Office has verified that an injured pilot and his passenger were transported to Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, and later to a Missoula hospital on Friday with unknown injuries after a plane crashed on the 4100 block of Highway 93 Friday morning.

Update 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 28 - Clearwater County Sheriff Chris Goetz said the plane that crashed near Lolo Pass was a single engine Lance Air two-seat aircraft. Information received by Goetz's office indicates the pilot was flying from Richland, Washington to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for an Experimental Aircraft Association convention when the crash occurred.

Update 3:45, July 22- A 36 mile section of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers has been reopened after they were closed due to a nearby chemical spill.

An airplane has crashed this morning, June 2, in Yellowstone National Park, leaving one man severely injured.

Travelers on I – 90 west were faced with a three mile long traffic jam around noon today, February 3, after an eight vehicle pile-up began on a bridge crossing the Clark Fork River about three miles west of Tarkio.

A high speed chase on I-90 ended with a flipped car and an unconscious suspect at about 8 a.m. November 8, near the corner of I-90 and Orange Street. The chase began when a trooper located a stolen car from Wyoming driven by a  23 year-old man.
