Red Flag Warning in Effect

I usually welcome dry conditions with little humidity when it's hot, but it's sure not helping with potential fire danger. The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning until midnight for parts of the Lolo, Bitterroot, Deer Lodge and Beaverhead ares for increased fire danger. Gusty winds near thunderstorms, very little humidity and frequent lightning storms are all in the recipe. A Red Flag Warning is intended to alert folks to expect weather conditions that, along with sufficiently dry fuels, will significantly increase fire danger.   DB
