Move Over ‘Bro Country’, Make Room for ‘Bra Country’

The ladies of country music seem to be fed up with men dominating country music, and they are speaking up about it. Female country music star Kelsea Ballerini has no issue telling everyone that 'Bra Country' is coming soon. "It's an awesome time to be a girl in country music. There's a huge wave of us, with Cam, Mickey Guyton and Maddie & Tae. I'm not anti 'bro country,' but women era is starting -- Sara Evans called it 'bra country.'

She is right, there is a lot of very talented female country musicians right now, and there could be a very strong wave of female hit songs coming soon.

It will be very interesting to see how country music changes in 2016, one thing is for sure, country music is the most popular genre of music for a reason!
