The above photograph is of a man known to authorities only as "Oscar," who is wanted as a rape suspect in an incident that occurred on Thursday, July 23.

The suspected rape occurred under the Reserve Street bridge with two teenage girls ages 13 and 14. Both juveniles were runaways who have since been returned to their guardians.

"This male is described as being anywhere from 25 to 30 years old," said Missoula Police Detective Sgt. Travis Welsh. "He is said to be skinny. He has tattoos over his right and left eyebrows. He has a nose ring. His lower lip is pierced. He has short brown hair and a short goatee. He typically carries a green backpack and has a puppy with him. He was last seen wearing black jeans and a jacket with spikes on the shoulders."

The available photo came from a convenience store security camera on the corner of Reserve Street and Mullan Road, not far from the crime scene.

Anyone with information about this case or the whereabouts of "Oscar" are asked to call either Crimestoppers at 721-4444, or Det. Mark Blood, or Sgt. Travis Welsh of the Missoula Police Department.
