City And UM Join Forces To Urge Victims; Call 9-1-1

Missoula Mayor Jon Engen, University of Montana President Royce Engstrom and other officials held a press conference Wednesday morning at the Mayor’s office in City Hall to urge anyone who feels they have been a victim of sexual assault to report it immediately to 9-1-1. The opening comments by officials are attached. Mayor Engen also urged the press to take a more active role in helping to publicize the message.
