Honor Flight Fundraiser

Honor Flight is a program that escorts Montana World War II veterans to Washington D.C. The main objective is to allow them an opportunity to see the World War II Memorial. As you can imagine, with an elderly group such as these deserving survivors, there are a lot of special needs that have to be addressed. It is not a cheap adventure, but can you think of anything more worthwhile than a gesture like this for The Greatest Generation? I wanted to say a special thank you to my good friend Sue Thompson at Bagels On Broadway for what she is doing Monday. Sunday is Veterans Day but the federal holiday is this Monday, November 12th. On that day, Bagels on Broadway will donate ALL the day's proceeds to Honor Flight. Can't wait to get down there and buy a few dozen pumpkin bagels! :-) God bless you, Sue, and thanks for that wonderful gesture. DB
