Veterans Recognized

American Legion Post 101 has a Veterans Day salute planned for Sunday. It will start at 1PM at the Missoula County Courthouse. There will be several speakers in the program saluting veterans including newly re-elected Montana Senator Jon Tester.

The motivating force behind the salute process is Dan Gallagher. Dan pointed out that these ceremonies are meant to honor all vets not just those who fell in battle. The theme for this year is; “You Don’t Have to Die to Be A Hero.”

After the ceremony all veterans are invited to the Old Post Pub for Chipped Beef on Toast (SOS).
