Brock Coyle Named Co – Defensive Player of the Week
University of Montana Grizzly linebacker Brock Coyle was selected by the Big Sky Conference Monday as the ROOT Sports co-defensive player of the week for his performance against Northern Colorado on Saturday.
Coyle racked up 11 tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery and two pass breakups. He picked up the fumble and ran 23 yards to set up a Grizzly touchdown. Also selected was Sacramento State linebacker Jeff Badger.
University of Montana sports information says this is Coyle’s first ever Player of the week honor.
