We want to say happy Thanksgiving to the patriotic crew of the International Space Station.

They say that around 50 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles for Thanksgiving festivities, but that probably doesn't factor these air miles into the stats. NASA astronauts will be warming up pouches of sliced smoked turkey, candied yams and blueberry cobler. They'll also be putting that special culinary touch known as "just add water" on freeze-dried cornbread dressing, green beans and mashed potatoes.

The astronauts will get to enjoy another American Thanksgiving tradition when Mission Control beams up some of the live NFL football coverage, which the Americans on board may have trouble explaining to the crew members from France and Russia.

We wish them the very best by saying God Bless America. We are thankful for your efforts and have a great "feast!"  :-)     DB
