The weather has been so nice lately all I want to do is grab my tube and float the Clark Fork. There is nothing better than spending the afternoon in the sunshine from the Sharon access and jumping out by Finn and Porter. That has been my favorite float for the past 5 years, as long as the sun is shining...

The Independence Day weekend will  be hot and dry, sending hundreds of people to Western Montana rivers to cool off by boating, swimming or floating.

On Sunday, a six year-old girl drowned in a tragic accident on the Bitterroot River, when the boat she was riding in with her father capsized.
