Missoula residents are receiving scam calls from individuals claiming to be with the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office demanding money for outstanding warrants.

October is Domestic Violence Prevention Awareness month, and Missoula’s County Attorney Kirsten Pabst helped to present several awards on Friday to individuals who went above and beyond in their efforts to assist the victims and prosecute those responsible for domestic violence.

Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jeannette Smith issued a press release early Tuesday afternoon regarding the search of a missing Missoula man.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s office is issuing an Amber Alert for Dana Lee Johnston.

According to court documents, Angel is currently being charged with assault with a weapon, assault, and aggravated DUI.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with a Missing and Endangered Person alert.
