There are some unique things about living in Montana that you just don’t have living anywhere else. I should know, after all, I have left Montana once or twice. You can trust me when I tell you there is no place on earth like it. That is why every time I have left Montana, I’ve always chosen to come back (usually as quickly as I could).

All we Montanans have known this as a fact for some time now. That’s why we live here. However, it seems that the rest of the United States has finally realized it, too.

It’s been a full year now that I’ve been on my kick to build a healthier life for me and my family. I didn’t make any drastic changes but slowly swapped some less healthy foods for healthier ones (most times unbeknownst to my family). I also made an effort to get outside every day and exercise a few times a week. I also swapped movies and TV time with my kids for walks in the woods and bike rides

I managed to get a little healthier in 2013 than I was in 2012. I didn’t make any drastic changes because I knew I couldn’t stick with them. Instead, I chose to change one small thing at a time to slowly make some changes toward a healthier lifestyle...

What they say about the weather in Montana is true. If you don’t like it just wait five minutes and it will change.
