Here’s an idea for a fun weekend for the kids and Dad. Take them out to the Big Pine Fishing Access Site near Alberton. Fish Wildlife and Parks has a kids day planned. They’ll be teaching kids about bears. They’re getting help from the Great Bear Foundation...
Father’s Day -- it’s the one time of the year you can tell the old man you appreciate how much he tolerates you constantly hitting him up for advice, wisdom and money.
What do dads really want for Father’s Day? Not being a dad myself, I find it hard to know what to give my husband every year around this time. I spend days ruminating on what the perfect gift is. Usually the answer I come to is an okay gift, but not perfect.
For this blog I went straight to the source, I asked my wonderful husband what he thought would be a terrible gift to get for Father’s Day and below are the answers he gave. It is only fair to note that my husband is an outdoorsman and has not a metrosexual bone in his body. He is much more comfortable living in the woods off the land for two weeks than staying at a five star resort for two weeks.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, the overwhelming majority of American dads believe the fathers of today are more attentive to their children than those in past.
If you’re like me, then you probably find it difficult to find something just right for dad for his special day. It’s really difficult, if you’re trying to find something that the kids make and give to dad too. I’ve been trying to find some things for my boys to make for their dad this year and came across a few great ideas, so I thought I’d share them with you. Enjoy!
