We were giddy when Logjam shared that they would be trying out some socially distanced, intimate live shows at The Wilma. Gives us hope for the return of live music, even if just a few dozen of us can attend each show. The shows they've done thus far have gone well, so The Wilma Cabaret series will continue. By the way, both of The Lil' Smokies shows sold out quickly, so if you want tickets for this one, act fast.

The next live show will feature vintage swing and jazz with Night Blooming Jasmine. The show is set for Friday, October 16th at The Wilma with doors at 6:30 and music starting at 7 p.m. All tickets are affordable with reserved cabaret-style seating on the main floor of the venue, including table service during the event. Two-top and four-top tables are available for $15 and $25, respectively. All ages are welcome. Get tickets here.

Night Blooming Jasmine are a string jazz sextet from right here in Missoula. The description from the Logjam press release describes their sound and energy as "playing in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli since 2016, they bring swinging rhythms, sophisticated solos and velvet harmonies to the stage."

Night Blooming Jasmine includes Geoffrey Taylor on violin, John Rosett on mandolin, Jeff Turman on guitar and Finn Carroll on bass and the angelic voice of Whitni Kent. "Together they create a timeless sound that transports the audience to the jazz clubs of 1930's Paris."
