PaddleHeads Offer Fun Contest on Social Media
Everyone loves a contests where you don't have to have any skill to win. And all you have to do with this one is play along and be blessed with a little luck of the draw.
The Missoula PaddleHeads posted limited details on social media about a #followbackforahat contest.
How simple is that? If you don't already follow the PaddleHeads on Twitter - do it HERE. It looks like the MiLB Store is getting in on the fun too, so you might want to give them a follow as well. Further directions will be given from each team tomorrow (7/21.) You might have to retweet a post. Or, maybe it'll be posting a tweet with a hashtag. We'll find out as the next step in the contest is revealed.
The interesting part of the contest is that each of the 25 teams will draw a winner from their social media accounts. All of the winners will then be put into a hat and be matched up with a random team. What does that mean? Well, you could be selected as the winner on the PaddleHeads page - but end up scoring a hat from the Reno Aces, Iowa Cubs, or any of the other teams that are participating.
On one hand it's kind of cool. On the other hand, why would you want a hat from a team you have no affiliation with? Ha! At least the PaddleHeads are continuing to find ways to have fun now that the Minor League Baseball season has been cancelled.
DID YOU KNOW? With the craziness of the shortened MLB season each team gets a pool of 60 players that will be able to play for the team this season. 24 players listed on rosters around the league have spent previous time playing for Missoula. See the list of players HERE.
