High school basketball players from across western Montana are gearing up for a first-of-its-kind competition. Adams Center Director Bard Murphey has details:

"For the first time ever, the Adams Center will host the Northwest-Southwest Class A Tip-Off Tournament. That begins on Friday," Murphey said. "There will be 12 schools here from throughout western Montana playing in this tournament and they will play Friday and Saturday."

The list of schools is as follows:

"Bigfork, Frenchtown, Corvallis, Libby, Stevensville, Whitefish, Dillon, Columbia Falls,Hamilton, Ronan, Anaconda, and Polson—both boys and girls," Murphey said.

Full day admission to the tournament is $7 for adults and $6 for students. Tip off for the tournament is at 10:00 a.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
