Halloween falls on a Sunday this year which means adults and kids alike will begin celebrating on Friday. Your kids are sure to be in the spirit of the holiday starting with costume parades and treats at school this Friday. Keep it going with a super fun breakfast on Saturday morning!

At my house, we love a Saturday brunch/lunch run to Wheat Montana. Their ham & cheese croissants and gigantic cinnamon rolls are ridiculously delicious! The menu will be a bit different this Saturday, though. Wheat Montana at 3rd and Reserve invites all of Missoula's Potterheds to a Harry Potter Pancake Breakfast. Breakfast will consist of 2 buttermilk pancakes, syrup, apples, kid-friendly butterbeer, and a Harry Potter novelty item, like a wand or a toy. And good news, it's an affordable bit of Halloween fun at just $5 per breakfast.

Wheat Montana is open from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. this Saturday and they'll be serving the Harry Potter Pancake Breakfast all day, so you don't even have to get up early if you don't wanna! About those enormous cinnamon rolls, I don't joke, the one below is pictured on a regular-sized dinner plate.

Other Halloween fun for the kids this weekend includes the Candy Crawl at the Southgate Mall, free rides at A Carousel for Missoula, and the Field of Screams, which is little kid friendly during the daylight hours. And your trick-or-treating forecast for Sunday is starting to look up, it's supposed to be less soggy than the start of the week with daytime highs in the 40s, we've certainly seen worse Halloween weather in Western Montana!
