Just after 1:00 p.m. on Monday, a male called 9-1-1. He reported that a strange female had approached him and asked him how to obtain illegal drugs. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh explains.

“The male described the female and a vehicle she had gone to after their encounter,” Welsh said. “The officers arrived at the location and quickly located the vehicle. Officers identified two females inside the vehicle. They were identified as 32-year-old Brittnie Andrysiak and 35-year-old Crystal Spicer.”

According to Welsh, officers continued their investigation and discovered a variety of illegal drugs.

“Spicer had initially provided a fictitious ID,” Welsh said. “She used the identity of another person. However, her real identity was soon learned. The females were found to be in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.”

Both women were place under arrest and were transported to the Missoula County Jail. According to the jail, Spicer is currently being held for criminal possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing a peace officer, and identity theft. Andrysiak is being held for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
