Missoula Police Arrest Two Men for Felony DUI
Over the weekend, Missoula Police Department officers arrested two separate individuals for felony DUI. Sergeant Rick Stevenson says the first incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday.
“A male named David Dufurrena, a 36-year-old Missoula male, was stopped at the intersection of Broadway and McCormick for speeding,” Stevenson said. “The officers investigated and eventually arrested Dufurrena for his fourth or subsequent DUI, which is a felony in this state.”
According to Stevenson, the second incident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on Friday.
“The second incident involved Jaques Bernard,” Stevenson said. “He is a 48-year-old Missoula male who was reportedly in a two vehicle non injury crash. The responding officer assisted the officer that was taking care of the crash. He determined that Mr. Bernard was driving under the influence. He was charged with a fourth or subsequent DUI.”
MPD were not the only ones who made a felony DUI arrest this past weekend. At around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Montana Highway Patrol arrested 34-year-old Vasily Lemeza for his fourth or subsequent DUI.
