Running a city: it's tough! I'd imagine, anyway. I've never run a city. I'd be very bad at it. I would definitely do something stupid, like blow the town's entire budget on a huge speaker system and massive screen for outdoor movie nights.

That's why I'm not in charge! Luckily, when I moved to Missoula, it looks like I was in good hands. Wallet Hub put together a study figuring out the best and worst-run cities in America, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Missoula not only ranked high on the list, we actually made the top 10!

Missoula comes in at number nine, ranking things like the unemployment rate, the crime rate, air pollution and more. I assumed we'd be the only one from Montana on the list, but Billings actually came in a little higher, at number 7. The number one spot went to Nampa, Idaho.

Oh, and all the way at the bottom of the list? Washington DC. Coincidence that the nation's capital is the worst-run city in the entire country? You decide!
