Word has reached us from "across the pond" that the Miss Montana C-47 has landed in Duxford, England. The WWII airplane will be part of contingent of vintage aircraft in a D-Day fly-over in Normandy June 6. The Museum of Mountain Flying support group has a Facebook page you might want to follow. The plane did a few test flights over Missoula during May and then flew across country. Then, it followed a World War II flight path to get to Scotland, and now, Duxford, England on May 28.

The crew recounts the trip from Missoula to the East Coast on a recent "Talk Back" program.
