Police have arrested a man for felony DUI after a 911 call came in from a Missoula home very early on Sunday morning.

"About 2:06 A.M. a resident in the 2500 block of Schilling Street called 911 and reported a suspicious vehicle in her driveway and in fact went on to say that the driver had gotten out of the car and was knocking on her door," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "Officers responded and found the car in the driveway and also found a 36-year-old male reclined in the driver's seat."

Welsh says officers noticed that the man appeared to be intoxicated as he slept in his car in the driveway, but that the woman decided not to press any charges. However, 36-year-old William Browning was still arrested later that night.

"It turned out that he did know the resident, but they had not seen each other for several years and the resident was not expecting this male to arrive at 2:00 in the morning," Welsh said. "However, a shot time later, one of the officers that had been there initially observed this man driving away from the incident."

The officer pulled Browning over and arrested him for DUI, Browning has already been convicted of DUI at least three times prior.
