Montana has many food items that are known all over the U.S. I’d even argue that some are known world-wide.  Huckleberry anything, pasties, beef dishes... but what about Montana peaches?

I had no idea that Montana is known for its peaches.

I hear all about the other foods, but this is a first! I was curious looking at different pages asking what each state is known for when it comes to food.

This one lady was gushing over Montana Palisade Peaches and all the things she makes with this delicious, underrated fruit.

I’ll admit it right now- pie is my least favorite dessert. I rarely enjoy a slice, but when Thanksgiving is near my belly starts to rumble. It’s just me, my guy, and our three dogs this year.

Family is not coming out and we aren’t going back home due to flights being outrageous. I want to start new traditions in my new home state. Joe is a wizard in the kitchen and his mama taught him how to bake like a champion.

We have too many pumpkin, apple, pecan, and cherry pies.

There’s always left overs and I suspect people are tired of the same old pies every single year. Let’s spice things up this Thanksgiving!
