
Missoula’s Own St. Patrick Hospital Ranks Among The World’s Best
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula has once again been named one of the world’s best hospitals, and the top hospital in the entire state of Montana by both Newsweek and Statista.
According to a press release from Providence, four data sources were utilized to identify the best hospitals for 2025.

They include: hospital recommendations from peers (other hospitals), taken from an online survey that looked at over 2,400 hospitals. Other sources include patient experience, taken from surveys of thousands of doctors, healthcare professionals and managers in 30 countries.
Other factors include patient experience, from surveys taken of patients’ satisfaction.

The Award Came from Patient Experience and Patient Satisfaction
The survey also looked at what are known as hospital quality metrics, which include medical indicators including quality care for treatments, hygiene, safety for patients and even wait times for patients.
Other factors included PROMS (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) from a Statista survey that utilized standardized questionnaires given to patients who provided input on their health and treatment experiences in hospitals.

2,400 Hospitals are Judged Every Year across 30 Countries
The press release stated that 2,400 hospitals are judged each year across 30 different countries, and "the methodology is made to match the rigor and valor of the hospitals recognized."
