Montana Leads the Nation in Holiday Gift Baking Traditions

There is a Montana baker, based out of Lolo that continues to compete on Food Network cookie challenge shows. Her name is Sarah Hemenway and she does some amazing baking.
Montana also has a lot of home bakers, people who do it for either necessity or for fun. There is one aspect where Montana excels more than other states, and I have some experience with it. Montana is the best state for "Gift Baked Goods for the Holidays". This is according to Talker.news, which conducted a survey for Pillsbury across the country.
Baking treats for gifts is something that I have been doing for years. I bake cookies for relatives, friends, neighbors and my postal carrier. It’s my way of showing appreciation for putting up with me. Evidently this is something that Montanans excel at doing.
There are some other entertaining baking habits from around the country. Texans dance the most while baking. South Carolinians like to listen to the holiday tunes while baking. The biggest cookie decorators are found in Kentucky, while the biggest gingerbread house builders are found in Utah. The most humble bakers can be found in California and Wisconsin, meanwhile the most confident bakers are found in Tennessee.
