Last weekend, the Missoula Paddleheads sported some sweet alternative uniforms. Or should I say three different sweet alternatives?

Note: You can't bid on these jerseys any longer and definitely can't buy tickets to the game, so ignore the links in the tweet above.

Sentinel, Hellgate and Big Sky each had their own unique Paddlehead jersey. The high schools benefitted after the game when fans could bid on the specialty jerseys. All proceeds went to Missoula High School Baseball.

Your winning bid on one of the game day jerseys will benefit Missoula High School Baseball partnership with the Missoula Paddleheads. Their mission is to bring High School baseball back to Montana!"

Not only is it a fundraiser for local high school baseball but also you get to go home with a sweet-looking jersey. Go hang that bad boy up in your man cave. Some of the jerseys went for some big bucks too.

Pioneer Baseball League Playoffs

PBL playoffs begin this week. We're down to the final four. The Paddleheads punched their ticket by clinching the first half championship with a 37-11 start. The Paddleheads seek their 2nd PBL championship since they rebranded from the Osprey. Missoula looks for their 5th title going back to the Osprey's first in 1999 when the league was a Major League Baseball affiliate.

Missoula matches up with the Glacier Range Riders this week in the best-of-three series. It starts Tuesday, September 10 in Kalispell and continues in Missoula on Thursday, September 12. Game three would be Friday in Missoula if need be.
