The Pioneer Baseball League and reigning North Division Champion Missoula Paddleheads have released their 2023 regular season schedules. The league is going to provide plenty of baseball action for Montana's four fanbases in the league; Great Falls, Kalispell, Billings, and Missoula.

The schedule is comprised of 96 regular season games, and teams playing each other will do so in three-game series, though some series will be played back-to-back as in the case of Billings hosting Missoula for the first six games of the season.

The Paddleheads, who have made two trips to the Pioneer League Championship series and are the reigning North Division Champions, will play seven 3-game series against South Division opponents this year. They will not meet the reigning Pioneer League Champion Grand Junction Rockies in the regular season.

Missoula will welcome back several key players for 2023, including pitcher Mark Timmins who started 17 games in 2022 and infielder Nick "Gator" Gatewood who drove in 96 runs to finish among league leaders in the category. Of note is outfielder Brandon Riley, who in addition to his playing duties will also serve as an assistant coach alongside returning manager Michael Schlact.

The Paddleheads haven't released their promotions schedule yet, but have historically released it in April as they did last year on April 6th (406 Day.) A source from the team expects their promotions schedule for home games to be released in March or April. For more on a fun new idea floated by Missoula manager Michael Schlact, TAP HERE.

When we get news of the Missoula Paddleheads promotion schedule, we will share it with you as soon as we can.
