At dusk Wednesday evening, after a community picnic dinner from the Hamilton Booster Club, the Hamilton High School Homecoming Bonfire was set ablaze across Kurtz Lane from the high school at the Bitterroot Aquatic Center. The Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department was on hand to keep everything safe ... and to put the fire out, too. A large contingent of students from all classes watched the flames and some of the athletic teams sang songs on the public address system - tunes from Taylor Swift to John Denver.
