Hundreds At the Hamilton High Homecoming Bonfire
At dusk Wednesday evening, after a community picnic dinner from the Hamilton Booster Club, the Hamilton High School Homecoming Bonfire was set ablaze across Kurtz Lane from the high school at the Bitterroot Aquatic Center. The Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department was on hand to keep everything safe ... and to put the fire out, too. A large contingent of students from all classes watched the flames and some of the athletic teams sang songs on the public address system - tunes from Taylor Swift to John Denver.
Homecoming week continues with high school activities, topped off with a student parade on Hamilton's Main Street at about 4 p.m. Friday and the Homecoming football game against Butte Central at 7 p.m. Friday night, which will be on KLYQ 1240 AM, klyq.com and on the klyq app on cellphones and tablets. Spirits are burning bright for the Broncs this week.
