Home prices continue to climb in 48 of the 50 states. CoreLogic says the average was up almost 12% above June of 2012. The research firm says demand is stronger and the supply of homes for sale is tight. In the month from May to June prices went up on average of almost 2%. That’s the 16th straight month of increases. In Montana average home prices are up a little over 6% from last year, they’re still behind the all time high set back in August of ’07 by 12.5%.
