Healthcare in Rural Areas by Robot
This could be a real breakthrough for health care in Montana. There are so many rural areas without adequate healthcare and patients have to drive miles to access it. A new system is being used to change that. Remote presence robots are allowing physicians to "beam" themselves into hospitals to diagnose patients and offer medical advice during emergencies. A growing number of hospitals are using telepresence robots to expand access to medical specialists, especially in rural areas.
There’s still the question of whether or not the robots have a good golf game.
