The annual Spring Cleanup Days for the City of Hamilton will be April 16, 17 and 18, when city crews will be picking up bagged leaves and bundled branches from the curbsides in the Hamilton city limits.

An addition to this year's event will be a special April 14 Volunteer Cleanup Day, where volunteer groups will help residents gather up their leaves. Mayor Dominic Farrenkopf is asking those who'd like to be on a volunteer crew to contact his office at City Hall. Also, if you need help in getting your yard spruced up, call the city and one of the volunteer crews will come to your address on Saturday, April 14. The City Hall number is 363-2101.

Reminders - no burning is allowed in the City Limits and the cleanup days are for city residents only. No rocks, no dirt, no trash, just bagged leaves and 4-foot long bundles of branches - just yard material.

The curbside pickups will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the area northwest of Main to US 93 on Monday April 16, southwest of Main to US 93 on April 17 and city streets east of US 93 on April 18. Red tags will be placed on items that are not in compliance and those items must be sorted so that unacceptable materials are removed. After doing that, call the Public Works Department at 363-6717 and they'll come back by. Check the Hamilton city website for more information.
