Hamilton Fireworks Were A ‘Bang-up’ Celebration
A beautiful night for fireworks. The main event started in the 10 p.m. hour over Hamilton July 4th, but the wait was worth it.
The City of Hamilton footed most of the bill, but 25 businesses and donors also helped bring in some of the big bombs for the annual free public display at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds.
Crowds gathered hours before the display at the fairgrounds - in the softball fields across Fairgrounds Road, in nearby parking lots and through the surrounding neighborhoods.
Here's a sample of what they saw.
