One of the delights (and challenges) of Halloween is deciding how to dress up on the big day. Should I be scary? Saucy? Funny? Downright bloody and gross?

I essentially decided to leave it up to you, dear readers, and Goodwill. I saw this fun costume generator online from Goodwill, so my daughter Lily and I popped in Goodwill to see what they had in stock.

I was BLOWN away at the selection: Not only did they have masks and costumes, but they had pet costumes, really great Halloween home decor, pumpkin carving/jack-o-lantern kits and lots of make up, wigs, teeth, etc. They were all brand new in the packages at crazy discounted prices.

Here's just part of it:

I put together several options and offered up an online poll earlier this month:

1) Happy Clown

4) Mardi Gras Police Officer

5) Alien

Here what everyone had to say:

So, I'll be blending looks (and maybe handing out beads) as a Mardi Gras police officer.

And, whether you're looking for the final touches to you costume or just getting started, you should head down to Goodwill. Online, they have a Halloween Look Book, online costume generator, DIY tips and much more here. It's truly a great place to let your imagination run wild!
