And she is only a sophomore!University of Montana sophomore Lindsey Hall was named the Big Sky Conference women's field athlete of the week after winning the heptathlon last week at the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge in Sacramento, Calif.

The heptathlon win was the first in Hall's career. She finished first or second in six of the seven events to score 5,169 points. She was nearly 400 points ahead of the rest of the field and is ranked 12th in the nation.

She won the 100-meter hurdles, the 800 meters and javelin and had runner-up efforts in the 200 meters, high jump and long jump. She placed fourth in the shot put.

Hall is also scheduled to compete in the heptathlon Thursday and Friday at the Montana Open in Missoula. The event will take place at Dornblazer Field. More information available at The Grizzly Athletics Website.
