Fundraiser Started for Missoulian Who Lost Home to Flood
You've seen the photo that went viral. A trailer home submerged and floating away in the flooded Clark Fork river.
That Schmidt Road home belongs to Peggy Rennaker and, as you can imagine, is a complete loss. Peggy's daughter and son-in-law helped her prepare for the flood as much as they could, getting belongings out and moved to storage before things made a turn for the worse. However, Peggy was forced to leave her furniture, food and appliances behind when flood waters became far too dangerous to deal with.
Peggy is now displaced, without a home and forced to rebuild her life and start over. As much as she resisted, her daughter has started a fundraising page to help her get back on her feet. A lot of listeners have called to ask how they can help, this is one way, thank you in advance for your generosity!
