Florence and Corvallis Each Finish in Top 3 at State Volleyball

In the All-Class State Volleyball tournament this weekend, Florence finished Second in Class B and Corvallis took home Third place in Class A.

In the Class A competition, both Corvallis and Stevensville were in the tourney, but Stevensville finished out of the top three.

Saturday, in Class A, Corvallis and Belgrade met each other for determination of the Third Place finisher. Belgrade defeated Corvallis 3-0 and Corvallis ended the tournament in Third place. Belgrade went on to the Championship and lost to Billings Central 3-1.

In Class C, Florence-Carlton lost an early contest at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse and had to work its way through the losers bracket to get into the finals.

Saturday, Florence defeated Joliet 3-2, making Joliet the Third place finisher. Florence went into the Championship match and lost to Huntley Project 3-0, finishing in Second Place.
