Car collectors have taken notice of a sale coming up this fall in Nebraska. The small town of Pierce was home to Lambrecht Motors. Ray and Mildred Lambrecht ran the place for 50 years and had just one employee. They’re retired now and they’re selling off the entire inventory, 500 units. That’s right over the years they kept some of the cars they took as trade-ins or they didn’t sell. A lot of them have been sitting in a warehouse. Corvairs, BelAirs, a 1965 Impala with just six miles on it. The Impala still has the plastic on the seats, red leather and the window sticker listing the options. There’s a 1956 Chevrolet Cameo pickup with just one mile on it. The list goes on and on. If you’re a bow tie fan this would be a fun auction to attend. It’s scheduled for September 28and 29 in Pierce.  If you’ve got the time you can watch an 11 minute video the auctioneer did of what they’ll be selling.
