Books Will Raise Money for Hamilton Players

A fundraiser for the Hamilton Players is happening this weekend. Saturday and Sunday July 21 and 22, the lobby of the Hamilton Playhouse will be filled with books. A used book sale will bring in some revenue to the community theater, but it's only two days and only from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No early birds, according to denise. The prices are pretty darn good - $2 per hardbound book or a dozen books for $20. Paperpacks are two for a buck and some collections will be sold by the box. There will new books added for the Sunday session, too. The Hamilton Playhouse is at 100 Ricketts Road, west of Hamilton.

By the way, the next summer play, "12 Angry Men," is opening August 17, but advance ticket sales start next week. The sale of tickets at the box office or online will start Friday, July 27. If you need more information call 375-9050. Box office hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
