Three Salvation Army bell ringers have set a new record with 105 consecutive hours of ringing each. Salvation Army Major "Butch" Soriano did his ringing outside of a Wal-Mart in the San Diego area. James Brickson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Andre Thompson of Tyler, Texas, matched him hour-for-hour. Soriano says his reward is the $2,700 he raised during the ringing marathon. The old record was 80 hours.
