Yesterday we brought you the story of a person going by the Facebook name "Billy Klowne" making death threats on residents of Great Falls. Sadly, we now have a 'clown' threatening Missoula High School students.

Somebody going by the Facebook name "Zootown Klown" posted a Facebook 'Check In' at Sentinel High School this morning threatening "Us klowns will be at all Missoula high schools this Friday night to kidnap and kill some students. Be ready Missoula." The message ends with a gun emoji and the hashtag 'klowngang.'

Travis Welsh of the Missoula Police Department gave the following statement regarding the threat. If you are on mobile, but not on the app, you may not be able to listen to the statement, but you can read it below.

You can see a screengrab of the original Facebook post, below.

"We here at the Missoula Police Department are aware of what is going on nationally, and I would point out that what we have been able to read here, it sounds like most of the incidents are non violent although there are reports of threats being made," Welsh said. "It is also true that we have had some type of post here in Missoula towards a local high school."

At this point, police are trying to determine if the threat is credible.

"We have not been able to substantiate it as a credible threat at this point," Welsh said. However, we have also notified all of our school resource officers and school officials that this is apparently out there and that people may be talking about it. [Resource officers] will notify the police department if they need additional resources, but at this time we are operating as usual with our officers in the schools."
