You’ll Read This Story When Pigs Fly

I guess to say the hog was flying is stretching it a bit. But hey, sensationalized journalism is my thing. And besides, I'll bet the hog thought it was flying.

You've seen the Doritos ad where the little kid invents a flying apparatus for his pet pig in order to earn a few chips from a farm hand, right?  Fort Collins, Colorado Associated Press reports that a 250-pound pig flew out of a trailer going down the highway at 65 MPH. The porky passenger was propelled onto the road. In its fright and panic it went and hid under a tractor-trailer that had pulled over after the incident.

Other than a little road rash to the ears and snout, our tough daredevil (darepig?) is just fine.    DB
