Yellowstone National Park is preparing to shut down nearly all travel through the park as the Fall season comes to an end. Park spokesperson Linda Veress explains.

“On November 5, which is this coming Monday, nearly all entrances and roads will close in Yellowstone,” Veress said. “This last weekend, November 3-4, will provide the last chance for visitors to drive to many iconic locations in Yellowstone. The west, south and east entrances and all roads, with one exception, will close to travel at 8 a.m. on Monday.”

Yellowstone will remain closed as the park waits for more snow to fall for snowmobile and snow coach travel. The park is expected to re-open for Winter Season on Saturday, December 15th.
