Wounded Warrior Fundraiser Saturday

Bob Ward's Sporting Goods' annual Shooter's Saturday is tomorrow at the Deer Creek Shooting Center with proceeds benefitting Buck Up For Wounded Warriors. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spectators are free but there are charges for gun demos and to shoot (cost per round) but it's very reasonable and it's for a great cause. You've probably read things I've written or heard me talk about Buck Up For Wounded Warriors on the radio. They are a support team for combat veterans and among other services, they furnish guided hunting and fishing trips that these folks might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy. I've been involved in a couple of fundraiser projects with them and looking forward to another one in October. But for now: Shooter's Saturday tomorrow (Aug. 4th).   DB
