Would You Try to Rob From These Guys?

What a village idiot, when you consider the venue. And you gotta love the way he was apprehended! This happened in Larkspur, Colorado, at the Colorado Renaissance Fair. Associated Press say a guy is facing charges of theft and resisting arrest, after he crashed a jousting performance and tried to get away with a sword.

He was chased down by two women in costume. One of the two gals (dressed as a wench) held him in a headlock for about five minutes until her husband (dressed as a knight) could ride up and detain him until police arrived. Although it sounds to me like the wench was doing just fine on her own.

The accused, Connor Ward, appeared to be drunk and was laughing most of the time. Remains to be seen if Ye Olde Judge thinks it was funny, too.  DB
