I know. What kind of a stupid question is that, anyway? Hey, I needed a setup. And maybe, relatively speaking, they're not high. But a store in Juneau, Alaska, had a gas-tastrophe on their hands, thanks to a pricing error.

You can still pay at least in the $2.90s per gallon in Juneau. Which again, for them maybe that's pretty darn good. But Associated Press tells us a Fred Meyer's store intended to drop their price by a penny overnight, from $2.92 per gallon to $2.91. Ooops! An entry error actually dropped it by one penny and one dollar, to $1.91.

You don't think things were a little crazy for awhile? And I think the Fred Meyer showed some class by not just jacking it back up to the intended price, but rather do a gradual increase back to where it's supposed to be.

It's nice to be paying under a buck-70 these days, huh? Here's hoping it stays down there for our long road trip in June. No, not to Juneau!
