That headline sounds like I have the makings of a naughty, adult-oriented Dr. Seuss rhyme. But actually it is a real life story of a snake snatcher in Portland, Oregon, with a rather risky technique.

Associated Press says that surveillance video at a pet store shows a guy shoving a two-foot python down his pants and slithering out of the store. The store owner says it was a pretty gutsy move, because it was getting very close to the python's uh...well, feeding day. We can only hope, right?

In any event, the surveillance video and tips from people who have seen it have helped police ID the thief and authorities should be putting the squeeze on him soon!

A python in my pants means I certainly can't dance. It's hard to take a stance. You get a funny glance. And the creature raves and rants. I must be in a trance, to put a python in my pants.

Ta-da!!!!  DB
