I admit I enjoy an occasional long day in front of slot machines in casinos. Luckily it's not an addiction. I stay within a budget and do it a few times a year at the most

. I think I'm okay there.

I do get intrigued by all the lights, bells and whistles, and just pressing a button and letting luck, fate and chance take the wheels is plenty of excitement for me. Of course, I'm not a Generation X, Y, Millennial or whatever.

The gaming industry wants to target, well, gamers!  Las Vegas casinos are pursuing arcade-style slot machines that will still take some luck but some skill as well. The Nevada Gaming Control is recommending the approval of machines that will incorporate the skill of playing video games into the mix.

The machines could be in Vegas by early 2016. The industry says younger gamblers want skill-based games. And regardless, Vegas wants their money.
