Montana state law requires big game hunters to wear at least 400 square inches of bright orange above the waist. So, would you be willing to think pink instead?

Well, it isn't on the state legislator table in Montana yet. But, according to Associated Press, it is in Wisconsin. Three legislators there have formally introduced a bill that would legalize blaze pink for hunters.

Now, take this as being sexist or not, but the backers of the bill say being able to wear pink would attract more women to hunting. Uh, yeah, okay. I think Montana is already pretty well represented by women who hunt, right? The lawmakers even brought in a textile expert from the University of Wisconsin who says blaze pink is just as visible in the woods as the traditional blaze orange.

Well, we'll keep an eye on the vote. Happy hunting this coming big game season, Montana. And think.....
