World Cup: Take Today Off

Team USA has a huge game against Germany today and head coach Juergen Klinsmann wants all American eyes and ears on the game, even if it means missing work today.
Klinsmann has even gone so far as to write a note to all American employees, so your absence from work today will be excused. His note reads, "I understand that this absence may reduce the productivity of your workplace, but I can assure you that it is for an important cause. "The (US Men's National Team) has a critical World Cup game vs. Germany and we will need the full support of the nation if we are to advance to the next round. By the way, you should act like a good leader and take the day off as well. Go USA!" America's head coach has spoken, and we should all do what he says. Team USA needs a win or a tie today to advance to the knockout round. (Chicago Tribune)
